REVIVAL JAPAN

Why Japan?

1. Japan is the LARGEST unreached nation

Among developed countries with freedom of religion.

2. 99% of Japanese do not know Jesus.

How can they believe in the One of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?”

Romans 10 : 14-15

3. SAFEST country to share the Gospel

Did you know that among all the unreached nations of the world, Japan is the safest place to share the Gospel?

1. Freedom of Religion – Japan guarantees full freedom of belief and public expression of faith. You can proclaim the Gospel openly without threat of violence or imprisonment.

2. Culture of Respect – Japanese people are known for their politeness and deep respect toward others. Even when they disagree, they listen. This creates one of the most open atmospheres in the world for genuine conversation about faith.

3. Low Crime, High Order – Japan’s commitment to law, order, and safety means that missionaries and evangelists can move freely in cities and public spaces.

That’s why we say: Japan may be the most unreached nation on earth—but it’s also the safest place on earth to reach. Centuries ago, sharing the Gospel here meant death. Believers were crucified, burned, and forced to step on the image of Jesus to prove their denial.

But that is not today. Today, we live in a window of grace. A moment of freedom where the Gospel can be preached in every street, every station, and every city without fear.

Let’s not take this freedom for granted.

Let’s use it. Let’s move while the doors are open.

Because history shows that freedom doesn’t stay open forever—and this time, we cannot miss the harvest. Now is the time to boldly conquer Japan for Jesus.

4. Japan's revival is a BIBLE PROPHECY

As the prophet Isaiah declared:

From the west, people will fear the name of the Lord, and from the rising of the sun, they will revere his glory.

Isaiah 59:19

We believe this prophecy has already begun to unfold through history. From the West, a great movement of the fear of the Lord has already swept across nations. It was seen in the early awakenings of England, the founding of America, and the revivals that shook continents through men like John Wesley, Charles Spurgeon, and Billy Graham. People once entered churches in suits and ties, standing in awe before God’s presence. Pastors were honored, holiness was revered, and a sovereign reverence toward God shaped an entire civilization. That was the movement of the fear of the Lord that came from the West — the first half of Isaiah’s prophecy. But Isaiah also foretold that from the rising of the sun — the East — His glory would be revealed. If the West was marked by reverent fear, we believe the East will be marked by transforming love. In Japan — the Land of the Rising Sun — the next move of God will look different. It won’t simply be people believing in Jesus; it will be people becoming like Him. A generation will awaken not only to worship His name but to embody His nature — Love itself.

The fear of the Lord gave birth to faith in the West.

The love of the Lord will reveal His glory in the East.

And that is why we believe Japan’s revival isn’t just a dream — it’s Bible prophecy unfolding before our eyes.

5. Graveyard of Missions for over 100years

Did you know Japan has been known for over a century as “the graveyard of missions”? It’s fascinating—despite being a nation with complete freedom of religion, known for its politeness and safety, Japan remains one of the hardest places on earth for the Gospel to take root. The question is—why is our enemy pushing back so hard? As the prophecy of Isaiah declares, we believe Japan’s revival will cause the whole world to revere His glory. Is there anything more thrilling than turning the “Graveyard of Missions” into the “Ground Zero of Revival”?

With your partnership and by the resurrecting power of the Holy Spirit, we believe it’s not just possible—it’s inevitable.

6. Help us bring Jesus back to Japan

Over 400 years ago, the Gospel spread rapidly across Japan. By the late 1500s, it’s estimated that over 300,000 Japanese had become Christians, including samurai, scholars, and peasants alike. Japan was hungry for truth so hungry that when the Tokugawa shogunate banned Christianity, believers were tortured and killed rather than deny their faith. Even children as young as 13 years old refused to step on the fumie a carved image of Jesus used to test believers — choosing death over denial. Their courage proved that the Japanese heart once burned for the living God. But when Christianity was outlawed, an entire generation of faith was silenced. Now, after centuries of spiritual darkness, we believe it’s time to bring Jesus back to the Land of the Rising Sun.

Why US?

1. Japan is our home.

Brandon was raised in Japan since the age of two. Samantha has been in Japan since 20years old and been serving as a minister in Japan for 15years. This isn’t just a mission field — it’s family. We know the language, the culture, and the spiritual walls that have kept Japan from knowing Jesus.

2. We speak both the heart and the language.

Born in the U.S. and raised in Japan, Brandon bridges both worlds — East and West. Samantha is from Sydney Australia. Fluent in English and Japanese, we understand how to connect with both local Japanese hearts and global mission partners like you.

3. Proven ministry experience in Japan.

Together, Brandon and Samantha pastored for over five years at Japan’s largest church — leading thousands to Christ and discipling hundreds of new believers. They have helped launch Hillsong Tokyo and carry deep experience in evangelism, leadership, and church planting across Japan.

4. Kingdom-minded business leadership.

Before ministry full-time, Brandon built a successful business from the ground up — funded by the Government of Japan and later sold to a public company. He brings that same excellence, strategy, and faith to building God’s Kingdom in Japan.
